Not content with just that, they are also currently the fastest selling single of this year with What About Us.

As soon as the news was announced the girls all took to Twitter to thank their fans:

Shortly afterwards, the girls made sure to ring in the news with a party attended by close friends and family.

The Saturdays are still without fifth member Frankie Sandford as they showed up to turn on the Christmas lights on London’s Oxford Street.

The quartet , Una Healy, Rochelle Wiseman, Mollie King and Vanessa White flicked the switch, donning warm winter coats but shedding them to perform later on.  As they did so, Healy showed off her baby bump.  She recently revealed she is expecting her first child with Ben Foden in 2012.

Frankie has been missing from band appearances for almost a month now and is believed to have been to hospital.

The remaining members are not slowing down though and are scheduled to start rehearsing for their upcoming All Fired Up tour which starts on December 2 in Bournemouth while also preparing to release third album On Your Radar.

The mystery of disappearing Sats Frankie

Frankie Sandford of the Saturdays last seen arriving back from Iceland with boyfriend Wayne Bridge on OCtober 2nd.

Here’s a question for you – just where is Frankie Sandford from The Saturdays?

The pop starlet hasn’t been seen since jetting back from Iceland on October 2nd and she has been absent for much of the band’s appearances  over the past weeks leading to speculation that she has left the band.  We need not remind you that this is what happened when Geri Halliwell left the Spice Girls…

However, rumour has been circulating that she has been unwell and is being treated in hospital.  A spokesperson said that her admission has nothing to do with drugs, alcohol or a cosmetic surgery procedure.

The 22-year-old wrote on Twitter earlier this week, “Sorry I haven’t tweeted in a while.I’ve not been very well.Miss u @MollieTheSats @unahealy @vanessawhite @RochelleTheSats I’ll b back soon x.”

In response, bandmate Mollie King replied, “We miss you more!!! Come back soon pleeeeease my buddy!!! Mwah! Xxx” and Rochelle Wiseman added, “Looking forward to having you back..big kisses from me and Tiger :)

The band have been forced to deny reports of a split with Rochelle saying, “No, we’re not splitting. She’s not very well and you can’t even have a flu or a runny nose before people start saying you’ve left.  In any other job if somebody had a few days when they were sick, nobody would say they’ve left. What are you supposed to do? You can’t come to work if you’re ill.”

Make way for a little baby Saturday!

You know you’re getting older when popbands start having babies and Una Healy of The Saturdays has just announced she is 3 months pregnant.

The 29 year old is expecting her first child with her boyfriend, England rugby star Ben Foden, who recently declared he wanted “lots of children” with his pop star girlfriend.

The Irish singer said, “I’m really happy! It was totally unexpected, but me and Ben are really excited.” In a band statement, The Saturday’s said, “We’re so excited for Una! We can’t wait to have a sixth Saturday.  Ben and Una are going to be fab parents.”

The pair have a rather unconventional story of getting together but one that’s probably quite the norm in the realm of celebrity.

They started dating in 2008 when his agent approached her.  She said of their getting together, “Ben’s agent got in touch with my agent who then sent me an email asking if I’d like to meet with him.  I really thought it was some kind of joke. It certainly wasn’t the way I expected to meet a guy.”

The 26 year old father-to-be is currently in New Zealand with the England rugby team for the World Cup while the band are currently at No.3 in the UK charts with their dance anthem All Fired Up.

Frankie gets her cheek on as The Saturdays take on LA for new video

It’s not like The Saturday’s aren’t used to baring their toned legs but Frankie Sandford went to a whole new level as the band filmed their new video in LA.

The 22-year-old WAG showed off her figure and her behind with a butt-skimming skirt and a cropped top.  Nice to know it happens to celebs as well as us, Frankie was adorning plasters on the back of her heels, showing that she was suffering for her art.  Us?  Just for fashion.

Writing on her Twitter, Mollie King wrote, “‘It’s VIDEO TIME!!!!! Let’s shoot this bad boy!!!!” before adding 18 hours later, “That’s a rap (sic) baby.”

Vanessa White also tweeted, “Video is going well and is a lot of fun! You guys are gonna love this one.”

While none of the group revealed which song their new video was for, it will be produced by Steve Mac who was the man behind their 2010 hit Ego and will be released this May/ June.

The band must be hoping to claim their first number 1 with this song as the top spot has so far evaded them.

Since their first single in 2008, their highest position has been at No.2 with Forever Is Over, way back in 2009.
