Originality is a rare find these days and especially in the fashion field.
Many high end brands, whose products are deemed to expensive for most, have seen their items copied by the high street in a bid to make the look favoured by celebrities available to the general public.
While this is great for the public who can get the same effect in designs akin to those worn by their favourite celebrities, it’s not so great for the designer who has no doubt spent hours working on their unique designs.
Primark have had to settle with designers after taking inspiration from their designs and even Cheryl Cole’s shoe collection with StylistPick was accused of having designs very similar to a designer brand.
It looks like Victoria Beckham is the current inspiration for the high street.
She was ridiculed for her singing career but hit gold and gained many credentials with her new role as a haute couture fashion designer. Her dresses are worn by celebrities all over the world but come at a steep price so its no wonder they would be on the hit list to be “copied.”
It seems that her instantly recognisable and unique cat print dress, which retails for £500, is the latest copy cat item. TOWIE’s Sam Faiers stepped out in the very similar version bar a orange stripe down the front from Celeb Boutique. Their dress is practically identical but retails for a quarter of the price at £110.
We love The Only Way is Essex and so does Claire Danes.
The 32-year-old Homeland star, who has won many awards and critical acclaim for her acting credentials obviously isn’t so picky when it comes to what she likes to watch.
Danes admitted that the Essex show is her guilty pleasure and she doesn’t care if it’s real or scripted.
The show was likened to the hit MTV show The Hills which catapulted Lauren Conrad to fame but Danes doesn’t see the likeness. Married to Brit actor Hugh Dancy she said, “Damn, I love that show. It’s just so good. We don’t have anything that rivals it. I don’t even care if it’s real or not, it’s thoroughly entertaining.”
TOWIE has often been slated however with fans such as Danes and even The Duchess of Cambridge, it doesn’t look like critical acclaim matters.
Meanwhile, E4′s rival to TOWIE, Made in Chelsea made a return to our screens last night and with it brought new cast members and new loves and of course, no love between Caggie and Spencer again.

Strictly Come Dancing is facing a tough future as it has emerged that the remaining judges Bruno Tonioli, Len Goodman and Craig Revel Horwood haven’t signed on for the next and tenth series.
The reason? Could it be due to the fact that the judges on The Voice are being paid substantially more despite being on the same channel.
Tom Jones is rumoured to be earning £300,000 while Jessie J is said to take home £200,000. This compared to the £90,000 the Strictly judges are paid is vastly different.
Tonioli said, “are you kidding? Don’t even go there. I’ll make some phone calls to check those figures.”
When asked if he felt the BBC took them for granted he said, “well now I’ve heard that.”
The remaining three judges look set to negotiate their salaries as a group while the BBC could face disaster should one or more choose to leave as they already have yet to name a replacement for Alesha Dixon and we all know how the all change panel went down on the X Factor. With Strictly finally beating its rival in the ratings war last year, they should be doing all they can to make sure they can follow that up this year.
Cheryl Cole’s eagerly awaited return to pop just got one step closer as lyrics from her upcoming new single have been leaked.
No prizes for guessing who the top culprit is for inspiring the single with the name being Screw You and lyrics strewn with expletives such as:
‘Can’t believe all the s*** I did for you, was so caught up in the love I felt for ya.
‘I was never enough, I never got your love.
‘I loved you so much but you never gave a f*** so screw you.
‘I can still remember our first date, never thought I would scream “I hate ya”.’
Cole’s last album release was at the end of November 2010 after she divorced husband Ashley Cole in September of that year.
Despite the rumours, that album did not contain revealing lyrics or songs about her personal life but it looks like Cole was inspired this time despite still being supposedly on good terms with her ex and also continuing to take his surname. He was even invited to her birthday party last year while in January of this year it was reported that they still speak every day.
Jessica Wright chopped off her luscious brunette locks only to put extensions back in just weeks later.
Fast forward a few weeks and fellow TOWIE star Samantha Faiers chopped off her blonde locks into a bob reminiscent of Mark Wright’s mother. Obviously not enamoured with her new sleek look, Faiers has also updated her look to her previous style. Maybe she wasn’t keen to damage her hair like Wright as she has been spotted with a bald patch from the damage of hair extensions, so she opted for a clip in hairpiece.
She took to Twitter to alert her followers that the bob had gone, “Got the hair piece in tunes on in the car and were on our way
wohooo.”
She told her followers she was on her way to see Drake at the O2 with her friend and was later snapped leaving the after party at the DSTRKT club in Soho where she added, “Having a few drinks at drake in the bar.. Omg just fell over !!! Wet floor ! Hazard so embarrassing …. Ahhhh.”
Drake was playing at the O2 as part of his Club Paradise tour . He will be returning to the UK in July to headline at Wireless alongside Rihanna.
Daybreak has had its fair share of drama since its launch but ITV are hoping that Lorraine Kelly will be brightening up their mornings as she is set to take over the ailing show.
The 52 year old is said to be thrilled to be taking over the show despite the unsociable early starting hour.
ITV are obviously thrilled with securing her as their host as they have given her more decent hours on the how. She will her not appear on the show until 7am. Instead, for the first hour of the show, a un-yet announced male presenter will take on hosting duties.
Channel 5′s Matt Barbet, Chris Hollins, and Gethin Jones area said to new front runners to take on the role.
As well as this, for the last hour of the she, Kelly will host the show by herself, in effect turning it into the Lorraine show.
She is currently off screens while she recovers from a horse riding accident which saw her be admitted into hospital to recover and to undergo surgery.
Dressing for the curvier woman is a minefield despite the average UK size being that of a size 14.
High street shops too often cater for slim women with fashionable and trendy togs however when you don’t have a Kate Moss kind of figure, clothes like that don’t often suit you.
Get ready to all hail Evans then. Once a larger ladies shop with clothes that weren’t described as fashionable nor trendy, all that looks set to change with the introduction of edgy design duo, Suzanne Clements and Inacio Ribeiro, a husband and wife team who have come up with a collection that is not only fashionable but sexy too.
They’ve even got a celebrity wearer in the form of superstar and woman of the moment Adele. She was seen wearing a Clements Ribeiro dress for her live performance at the Albert Hall last year and also wore dresses from their then unfinished Evans autumn/winter collection for both the Grammys and the Brits.
Clements says of Adele, “she is everything you’d imagine she’d be. She’s such a great muse because she’s not a woman who wants to change herself. She’s a big, tall girl, but she carries herself so well.”
The collection is out in the next few weeks.
Before Made in Chelsea, she was used to working behind the scenes as a make up artist but Millie Macintosh is clearly loving being in front of the camera now.
She was seen auditioning to appear in last year’s Britain’s Next Top Model but didn’t get through though it seems that they clearly missed the boat as Macintosh has been unveiled as the new face of Lipsy. She’s also recently been involved int he Umberto Giannini’s new hair care range.
Macintosh, 22, is now the face of the Lipsy’s VIP collection which is an exclusive collection of evening wear from glamorous maxi dresses with thigh length splits a la Angelina Jolie to feminine prom dresses.
She is also currently filming the next series of Made in Chelsea which returns to E4 on April 2nd.
Mackintosh is currently filming the third series of Made In Chelsea, which returns to E4 on April 2. As well as this, she has landed herself a celebrity boyfriend in the form of rapper Professor Green, though it is unlikely he will appear in the show that she appears in with her ex-boyfriend Hugo Taylor.
It’s turning out to be a bit of a trend so why wouldn’t they join the bandwagon and reunite?
S Club 7 are joining the likes of Steps and Take That and reuniting for a reunion tour and a new album.
The 7 popstars reached the dizzy heights of fame back in their heydey and obviously they have seen the reaction to the Steps reunion and thought that they should join in. The band haven’t reached solo success since they disbanded, not through want of trying though. Jon Lee has been in Jersey Boys, while Hannah Spearritt tried to get her acting career to take off in Primeval and Rachel Stevens has appeared in Strictly Come Dancing.
A source said, “The guys have been inundated with approaches and offers over the past three years, but always said no. But following a series of talks and meetings, they decided to go for it. The band figured it was a case of now or never. And if the gigs go well there is the option to release a new album, plus a Greatest Hits. Everyone is really excited – and frantically getting back in shape.”
PR for the band were keen to point out that the reports are “just rumours at this stage.”
S Club 7 were formed by former Spice Girls manager Simon Fuller and shot to fame with their pop career and the corresponding TV show Miami 7. They hit the number one spot four times and sold over 17million albums before splitting almost 10 years ago now.

Michelle Williams, Amanda Seyfried and Kristin Davis are just some of the celebrities going mad for h&m, even choosing to wear them on the red carpet.
The high street retailer is set to launch their new Eco friendly range and with backing from high profile celebs, it’s sure to be a big hit with the general public.
The stars have been wearing outfits from the collection for the red carpet and with Michelle Williams even wearing one of the designs to the BAFTAs.
The collection is not only full of colour but also has interesting lines and embellished detail. Not only that but it also has impressive Eco friendly credentials. Every item is made from recycled polyester, organic cotton and hemp.
The Conscious collection will expand into men’s and children’s collections.
