It’s no secret that every woman wants long, fluttery eyelashes.
Make up companies make a fortune in mascaras that promise to give you long lashes while false lashes have made a
resurgence lately thanks to the likes of Cheryl Cole and the TOWIE girls. It’s no biggie that eyelash extensions then became available on the market but the latest trend is for real mink eyelash extensions.
The lash extensions are from the fur brushed off live animals and aren’t new over the pond. Celebrity advocates include Jennifer Lopez, Kim Kardashian and Heidi Klum.
Previously a set of mink lashes would cost up to £5,000 however by becoming more mainstream they now cost around £125.

Make up is hailed for its many abilities to transform a person, cover up unsightly blemishes and give you a glowing look J-Lo would be jealous of but it’s also now able to be indicative of where you reside in the UK.
Different areas of the UK have been shown to favour certain products over others. For example, Edinburgh women buy 15 per cent more foundation than those from anywhere else whereas people from Cardiff prefer to splash out on blusher, buying 51 per cent more than the national average.
Solihull residents prefer Lip gloss while Manchester prefer to get their nails done. WAG central, Cheadle, prefer to flutter those eyelashes spending 7 percent more than average on mascara while Liverpool ladies are keen on bronzing products and self tanning products. Posh Chelsea residents like their expensive facial serums while women in London, Glasgow and Leeds are the most likely candidates to carry a full make up bag with them wherever they go.
Carie Barkhuizen, a spokesman for Debenhams said, “Customer research shows that women have in excess of £250 worth of cosmetics in their make-up bags, but the contents vary regionally.”
Alice Hart-Davis, creator of goodthingsbeauty.com, added, “If you’d asked me this last week, I would have been baffled by the extraordinary amount of self-tan and bronzing products that are being sold in Liverpool. But having seen the pictures of racegoers at Aintree, you can see where it went – a heavily-bronzed look was de rigueur for Ladies’ Day.”

Boots is set to have a firm best seller and sell out on their hands with the launch of their new No 7 miracle duo.
The Lift and Luminate Day and Night serum is priced at £24.95 and claims to reduce the appearance of fine lines and firm up your skin.
Creams similar to this have been sell out products and Boots will be hoping to replicate this.
Dr Tamara Griffiths of Manchester university praised affordable skin care products, “Lines, wrinkles and sagging skin are obvious concerns, but the ageing effects of pigmentation such as age spots and uneven skin tone can also play a significant role.”
Boots’ new serum has been tested on 1200 women and has been shown to smooth out wrinkles, even skin tone and firm up the face to give a youthful appearance.
Recently, Boots and their No 7 range have had a big send up from celebrity fan Gwyneth Paltrow who raved about their products.
Lift and Luminate goes on sale at Boots from April 18th.
Jessica Wright chopped off her luscious brunette locks only to put extensions back in just weeks later.
Fast forward a few weeks and fellow TOWIE star Samantha Faiers chopped off her blonde locks into a bob reminiscent of Mark Wright’s mother. Obviously not enamoured with her new sleek look, Faiers has also updated her look to her previous style. Maybe she wasn’t keen to damage her hair like Wright as she has been spotted with a bald patch from the damage of hair extensions, so she opted for a clip in hairpiece.
She took to Twitter to alert her followers that the bob had gone, “Got the hair piece in tunes on in the car and were on our way
wohooo.”
She told her followers she was on her way to see Drake at the O2 with her friend and was later snapped leaving the after party at the DSTRKT club in Soho where she added, “Having a few drinks at drake in the bar.. Omg just fell over !!! Wet floor ! Hazard so embarrassing …. Ahhhh.”
Drake was playing at the O2 as part of his Club Paradise tour . He will be returning to the UK in July to headline at Wireless alongside Rihanna.
Before Made in Chelsea, she was used to working behind the scenes as a make up artist but Millie Macintosh is clearly loving being in front of the camera now.
She was seen auditioning to appear in last year’s Britain’s Next Top Model but didn’t get through though it seems that they clearly missed the boat as Macintosh has been unveiled as the new face of Lipsy. She’s also recently been involved int he Umberto Giannini’s new hair care range.
Macintosh, 22, is now the face of the Lipsy’s VIP collection which is an exclusive collection of evening wear from glamorous maxi dresses with thigh length splits a la Angelina Jolie to feminine prom dresses.
She is also currently filming the next series of Made in Chelsea which returns to E4 on April 2nd.
Mackintosh is currently filming the third series of Made In Chelsea, which returns to E4 on April 2. As well as this, she has landed herself a celebrity boyfriend in the form of rapper Professor Green, though it is unlikely he will appear in the show that she appears in with her ex-boyfriend Hugo Taylor.
As the BBC gears up for the next series of The Apprentice, last year’s winner Tom Pellereau has revealed his new venture and products with Lord Sugar’s help.
If you were expecting something super gadgety or high tech, you’re in for a surprise because the innovation in question is actually a mere nail file. With a difference of course. The new range of files are shaped into an S shape which is supposed to make it easier for women to file those all important talons into oval or square shapes.
Several retailers have snapped up the product with Sainsburys stocking it from Sunday.
Pellereau is the first winner to go into business with Lord Sugar with a £250,000 investment. He has been working non stop since winning the show to develop his products: the S file, the S buffer and emergency S file.
He said of working with Sugar, “it has been the experience of a lifetime and seeing my product on shelf is a dream come true.”
Sugar said, “Tom has worked diligently this pat year at developing the Stylfile and getting it to market. He’s done extremely well at turning a very good concept into three excellent products and getting them stocked with some of the biggest retailers in the country.”

Fake tan has come on leaps and bounds lately with the likes of TOWIE promoting the beauty ritual however it can be both messy and leave you streaky whilst smelling of biscuits however a new product that promises to give you the fake tan look without the mess: Fake tan tights.
They are the latest in hi-tech hosiery and promise to take out the mess of applying fake tan as the tights have “micro-fibres in the tights are impregnated with tanning solution. When these come into contact with the skin, the tanning agent starts to develop, leaving your legs perfectly tanned with no more orange palms, patchy ankles and stained carpets.”
Hmm. Sounds like tights drenched in fake tan to us.
The process: don the soggy tights with the fake tan formula for a couple of hours and voila, you should have perfectly tanned legs.
If you want to give it a go they cost £7.99 from tightsplease.co.uk however we’re not sure it sounds like the best way to get a tan; if you want your legs tanned and glowy we’d prefer to just opt for Marks and Spencer’s tights in Suntan.
Relatively unknown actress Felicity Jones has quite possibly landed the gig that will change her life.
